One night while I was spinning at Club De Ville, some drunk hipster was dancing with his friends and kept yelling at me, "MIKE JONES!!! MIKE JONES!!!" I assumed he hadn't mistaken me for some kid from his high school named Mike, last name Jones. (I look nothing like a Jones.) And I busted out my H-Town catalogue, which I keep on my person no matter what fucking gig I happen to be playing. Laid down Still Tippin' and watched said Hipster and his friends transform their awkward, gin-induced dance steps into weird gentrified gangster leans. Arms up, throwing "signs". "Grinding" with their black-haired, pale-skinned, rock-girlfriends. Strange.

Here's a new drinking game... Put on a Mike Jones CD, and everytime he says his name everyone takes a shot of Patron.
