Fearless Freaks.

As it typically is at this time of year, I am overinundated with work, SXSW happenings and other things, and so normal day-to-day things fall to the wayside... Things like eating, sleeping, maintaining my checking account... You get the idea. So you can expect a recap of the past week (and the week before, and the week before that) whenever I get some free fucking time. Cool?

So South-By-South-Caca is in full effect. Film and Interactive have been going on since Friday and Music officially starts today. Seen a couple of movies, played a couple of events... It's been fun so far.

If you consider yourself at all to be a Lips fan, then you must check out The Fearless Freaks. It's playing at 7:00 tonight at The Paramount, and it's pretty fucking great.

Bradley has literally been working on this thing for the past decade and a half, and in the process has become very dear friends, and has captured some pretty intimate stuff. (Heroine anyone?)

Anyway. It's more than worth a peek. Completely captures the essence of the band.


After the screening, head to Progress Coffee Shop for the after-party. Progress is where the old Gear use to be, just east of the Death Trap on San Marcos. 500 San Marcos to be exact.

The band and filmmakers will be in attendance, and DJ Fuckin' A will be playing... I don't know what the fuck I am going to be playing... But I'll be spinnin' some shit for your Lips-Lovin' Ass.
