Viva Mexico and the Mayan Riviera
I've been online all day looking for the perfect spot for our honeymoon. Ideally we would like something all inclusive but not huge and resorty. Is that too much to ask? I found a few choice spots that are off the beaten path (I think). What do you think about these?
Hotel Deseo
Maromar Resort
El Dorado Seaside Suites
Blue Parrot
Any suggestions?

I like the Blue Parrot kiva room, and it seems more private than the others. Also, the reviews sound interesting. That would be my pick, but they all look great. love-alicia
just happened upon your site and likely your wedding is over, but Deseo is too much into the thick of things and so is Blue Parrot.
Without question, the best place for you of the ones you mentioned is Maromar.
You can always take the bus in to Playa if you get bored.
If you want to hang out around 5th Avenue have you considered ALHAMBRA [no TV, for tv try Riviera Maya next door] right on the beach, Plus they just constructed from Albatross Hotel, a new design Hotel called Mosquito Beach. Mas caro!
If you are not fixed onMX consider Rockhouse Hotel, Negril beach, Jamaica.
